Sindhudurg Nagari –

Sindhudurg nagari, also known as Oros, is a neatly pre-planned city of district Sindhudurg. It is headquarter of the district. 

Shri Lakshmi  Narayan Temple –

This is finest example of Hemandpanthi style of temple architecture. The temple was constructed by Suryabhan & Chandrabhan Prabhu-desai brothers in early 14th century. This East-facing temple is entirely constructed in teak wood. The beautifully carved stone pillars and roof, wonderful carving of lotus flowers, a big bell in the temple are some main attractions of this temple. Tourists from Deccan Odyssey make a point to stop at this ancient temple.A beautiful lake near the Laxmi Narayan temple makes the site very attractive.

Shri Kaleshwar Temple –

This temple is the most beautiful & artistic temple. The ' Shiv pindi ' in square form. All the six pillars are decorated with best stone carving.

Just aside the Kaleshwar temple, there is a separate temple of Shri Brahmdev. Temples of God Brahmdeo are rarely seen in India. The statue of the god is beautifully carved.

Shri Datta Temple –

This temple was established by Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati Tembe swami in 1883. Large number of devotees of Tembe swami visit here from all over India. There is a good arrangement for lodging & boarding done by the temple trustees.

Pinguli Puppet –

This village is famous for the making of puppets. There are artists in the village who conducts puppet shows which are very famous among tourists & they are popularly known as pinguli artists.
